From dealing with your SFD (Sh*tty First Draft), reckoning and actually acknowledging the emotions your feeling, and rumbling with them until we get to a plHilarious and poignant. I would give it 10 stars if possible. I thought Rising Strong was her one work that could have been condensed a bit-- and this audio recording was the perfect listen to gain understanding on the topics without having to dive into the full thing. Here she once again synthesizes her years of research, innate understanding of human behavior, and personal stories into a highly readable, relatable, and actionable self-improvement book. Getting back on our feet doesn't require religion, theology, or doctrine; however, it does mean recognizing that we are all connected by a power greater than all of us and that connection is grounded in Rising Strong as a Spiritual Practice by Brene Brown, PhD, LMSW.
